Living and working in the remoteness of the largest health jurisdiction in the world you will get the opportunity to broaden your exposure. You will work on high acuity cases with long retrieval times. You will make a difference to the lives of people with limited health care providing them with care on location and in the air with all tertiary health care located in Perth.


This role can be offered as a full-time Port Hedland based role or FIFO from Perth month on, month off (0.5 FTE).

Who Are We Looking For?



To be successful in this role you should have experience in the following relevant areas:

• Aeromedical retrieval
• Telemedicine
• Indigenous health


Essential Criteria:


• Registration, or the ability to register, with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Medical Practitioner
• A minimum of five years of postgraduate experience
• Significant experience in emergency medicine, anaesthesia, and acute paediatrics
• Able to independently manage critically ill and injured patients, including procedural skills relevant to critical care medicine
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Available for a minimum of 12 months
• Australian resident or have completed your studies in the UK, Ireland, United States, Canada and New Zealand

Desirable Criteria:


• ACEM/ANZCA/CICM/FACRRM or FRACGP or equivalent, or experienced career medical officers
• Obstetric experience
• Experience in pre-hospital or retrieval medicine
• Experience in regional or remote medical practice
