About the Royal Flying Doctor Service South Australia / Northern Territory (RFDS SA/NT)
We are one of Australia’s most trusted and respected health and aeromedical service providers, delivering essential care to people across remote, rural and regional communities throughout South Australia and the Northern Territory.
As part of our ongoing strategic and operational activities within the Northern Territory, we are focused on strengthening our workforce and enhancing capability across the region.
Our five-year Strategic Plan prioritises building innovative, responsive and better-connected services that improve health and wellbeing outcomes for all Australians. You can watch stories about our people, patients and the communities we serve at rfdsnt.com.au
About this Opportunity
As the Patient Experience Partner, you’ll be a vital link between RFDS SA/NT’s clinical teams and the patients, families and communities we serve across the Top End, Big Rivers and East Arnhem regions. This is an opportunity to put patients and communities at the heart of healthcare. You’ll build trusted relationships with remote, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, listen to lived experiences, and ensure their voices, perspectives and feedback genuinely influence the way our services are designed, delivered and improved.
Working across the organization, you’ll lead and coordinate meaningful community engagement, patient feedback and consultation activities, while partnering with clinical and quality teams to turn insights into practical improvements in person-centered care. You’ll play an important role in strengthening RFDS SA/NT’s commitment to Partnering with Consumers, supporting our accreditation requirements and helping create a culture where patient stories, feedback and lived experience are valued as an essential part of how we deliver care.
If you’re passionate about community engagement, patient experience and making a tangible difference for people living in some of Australia’s most remote communities, this is an opportunity to have a real impact.
