About the Opportunity
Every flight has a purpose.
As a Line Pilot with RFDS SA/NT, you'll operate our Pilatus PC-12 fleet, delivering life-saving aeromedical retrievals, inter-hospital patient transfers and primary healthcare missions across the Northern Territory.
Based in DARWIN OR GOVE, you'll fly into some of Australia's most unique and remote locations, working alongside highly skilled flight nurses, doctors, engineers and operational teams to deliver essential healthcare where it is needed most.
No two days are the same. One mission may involve responding to an emergency retrieval from a remote community, while the next sees you transporting patients between hospitals or supporting healthcare teams delivering services across regional and remote Australia.
As part of our commitment to developing our pilots, you'll have the opportunity to upskill onto the Pilatus PC-12 PRO, supported by comprehensive training and ongoing professional development.
This is more than a flying role. It's an opportunity to combine your passion for aviation with meaningful work that genuinely improves the lives of people living in rural and remote communities.

- Approximately 100 hours of night flying experience.
- Recent single-pilot IFR experience within the past two years.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
