The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) in Western Australia is delighted to again support the State’s largest annual community event, showcasing its life-saving work at the 2021 Perth Royal Show (25 September – 2 October).

This year, RFDS crews will be at the Farm to Food Pavilion, next to the animal nursery and our corporate partner CBH Group.

Come on down and check out our PC-12 aircraft simulator, merchandise, medical chests and first-aid live demos shared by Notre Dame University nursing graduates on show.

Families are invited to take part in our colouring-in competition designed to inspire the younger generation to learn about the work of the Flying Doctor, with cool RFDS prize packs up for grabs!

Head of Community and Engagement Rebecca Maddern said the RFDS’ activation at the Royal Show was a valuable opportunity to thank our supporters, swap stories and raise awareness of the service in the WA community.

“The RFDS has shared a long and proud history supporting the health needs of people living in the regions, last year retrieving 10,097 patients from across Western Australia – that’s 1,000 patients more than the previous year,” Ms Maddern said.

“The Royal Show offers us the opportunity to raise awareness of our mantle of safety especially as more and more people in Perth are holidaying in our regions.

“Grab your tickets early and we hope to see you there!”
