About this Opportunity
The Customer Contracts Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of contractual obligations across a portfolio of government and private sector agreements.
In this role, you will lead contract management activities, ensuring compliance, governance and performance outcomes are achieved while supporting the organisation’s strategic goals. You will act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and customers, fostering strong relationships and enabling effective service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining contract management plans to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Monitoring and reporting on contract performance, including KPIs, risks and outcomes
- Coordinating contract governance activities, including reporting, meetings and documentation
- Acting as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters, resolving issues and escalating where required
- Supporting contract lifecycle activities including variations, extensions and close-out
- Leading performance reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely submission of contract deliverables
- Identifying risks, trends and opportunities for continuous improvement and added value
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About You
You are a commercially astute professional with strong relationship management skills and a proven ability to manage complex contracts in a dynamic environment.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in contract management, negotiation and administration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage complex issues
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Experience monitoring contract performance and delivering reporting against KPIs
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable:
- Experience in financial or program management
- Background in aviation, healthcare or similar regulated industries
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline
