Description

We are seeking two friendly, customer-focused and organised Medical Administration Officers to join our Primary Health Services team in Clermont, Queensland.

About the role
This is an initial 6-month contract in a job-share, part-time position, working Monday to Friday. As the welcoming face of the Clermont clinic and the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting clinical staff with a range of administrative functions. Your contribution will help ensure our healthcare services operate smoothly and efficiently, creating a positive patient experience while supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reception services and coordinate appointment bookings
- Maintain accurate patient information and registrations within Pracsoft
- Complete Medicare and DVA batching processes
- Assist with daily clinic opening and closing procedures
- Prepare consulting rooms and monitor clinical stock supplies
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy requirements are maintained at all times.
- Experience in a medical, healthcare or administrative role
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and medical software systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality
- High attention to detail, with qualifications in Medical Administration and experience with Medical Director, Pracsoft or Medicare billing highly regarded.
