Health Promotion & Education
The RFDS runs a variety of health promotion and education programs that seek to improve the health and lifestyles of people living in remote and rural Australia.
The Flying Doctor also runs a school education program called Look! Up in the Sky. This comprehensive educational resource has been written by a team of practicing and registered teachers. The Education Program teachers students about the significant contribution the Royal Flying Doctor Service has made to Australia's history and educates them on the range of services the Flying Doctor provides 24/7 to people living, working and traveling throughout Australia.
