Fundraising in the community
At the Flying Doctor we love meeting new people who want to talk about our work and how they can help save lives across regional and remote Australia. You might even spot our fundraisers out on the streets of your local community having a chat about Support Crew, our regular giving program. A regular gift is a reliable source of funding that we can use to support our mission of bringing the very best emergency and primary health care to all Australians, no matter where they live. When one of our team signs up a new Support Crew member, that’s another family living in remote or regional areas of Australia who can breathe easy, knowing the Royal Flying Doctor Service will be there when they call.
Recognising our crew
You’ll recognise our team in your community thanks to their eye-catching blue Support Crew uniform with the prominent Flying Doctor Logo as well as their photo ID badge. When you’re approached by one of our team, they’ll tell you that they’re raising money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service Victoria.
Joining our crew
If you do decide to join the Support Crew – you’ll receive a confirmation of your direct debit commitment. A Welcome Pack will follow soon in the mail. Our fundraising team never ask for, or accept cash donations.
We keep our standards high
Our Support Crew work to the highest possible standards. We’re members of the Public Fundraising Regulatory Association which means we comply with strict regulations to ensure transparent fundraising practices.
