The RFDS in QLD

Workplace Giving

Is it possible to help Queenslanders in need while you work? We believe it is.

Workplace Giving is a simple and tax-effective way to donate to the Flying Doctor, employees make small, regular donations to their chosen charity through their pre-tax pay.

Benefits of Workplace Payroll Giving?

Workplace Giving is a simple tax-effective way to make regular donations to the Flying Doctor and enables the RFDS to budget well into the future, and a great example of when we join forces and give collectively, we are able to achieve so much.

The automatic gift means employees do not need to remember to make a donation each week, fortnight or month. Some employers agree to match Workplace Giving donations, meaning the Flying Doctor receives even more much-needed funds.

Donations received through Workplace Giving go directly towards purchasing and medically fitting out our aircraft, allowing the Flying Doctor to continue proving the finest care to people in the furthest corners of rural and remote Queensland.

Does your employer offer a Workplace Giving Program?

Save lives through Workplace Giving

Geoff Whaling has been generously donating to the RFDS since 2007 and decided to support through Workplace Giving in 2011.

"I changed over to payroll giving because Telstra adopted a policy of matching staff contributions through the Telstra Foundation," Mr Whaling said.
