The RFDS in QLD
Workplace Giving
Help keep the Flying Doctor flying — straight from your pay
Workplace Giving is a simple, tax-effective way to support the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) through small, regular donations from your pre-tax pay. Your regular gift helps RFDS deliver aeromedical retrievals, primary health care, mental health, oral health and health promotion services across regional, rural and remote Queensland.
Why give through your work?
Workplace Giving is easy to set up, automatic, and makes a lasting difference.
Every two minutes, someone needs the RFDS. More than 330,000 people are supported each year through clinics, aeromedical transports and telehealth consultations.
Your donation can help the RFDS in Queensland:
- purchase and medically fit-out aircraft
- provide life-saving equipment
- provide medical chests to support remote communities
- provide telehealth and mental health support for isolated Queenslanders.

Does your employer already offer Workplace Giving?
- Yes -Ask your payroll team to set up regular donations to the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section).

Save lives through Workplace Giving
Geoff Whaling has been generously donating to the RFDS since 2007 and decided to support through Workplace Giving in 2011.
"I changed over to payroll giving because Telstra adopted a policy of matching staff contributions through the Telstra Foundation," Mr Whaling said.
