The Royal Flying Doctor Service is committed to improving access to dental care in regional communities across Queensland. Since 2013, the RFDS Dental Service has delivered dental care from a purpose-built semi-trailer to towns in regional, rural and remote Queensland. The service offers preventive care and treatment for a range of oral health conditions at no cost to the patient.
The RFDS Dental Service is a fully-equipped mobile dental surgery featuring state-of-the-art equipment, including an OPG machine. It is staffed by qualified dentists and dental assistants who provide a wide range of services direct from the mobile unit, including:
- oral health maintenance
- X-rays and extractions
- treatment for acute or pre-existing conditions
- treatment for gum disease
- referral to specialist dental services.

- Collinsville: 11 June to 5 July
- Greenvale: 16 July to 20 July
- Richmond: 23 July to 30 July
- Camooweal: 6 August to 9 August
- Dajarra: 12 August to 15 August
- Boulia: 27 August to 5 September
- Winton: 10 September to 26 September
- Tambo: 9 October to 17 October
- Tara: 29 October to 7 November
