RFDS Queensland understands that privacy is very important, and we are committed to protecting the health information we collect from you.

We collect health information about our patients and clients to ensure we can provide high quality care. We store this information as part of your health record.

The types of information include:

  • Information about your health and medical history
  • Details from different services you receive, such as primary health service (general practice or nursing services), aeromedical service, acute telehealth service, mental health service, and oral health service.
How we collect your information
  • We will always try and collect information directly from you
  • Sometimes, we may collect it from others involved in your care (for example, your doctor or another health provider)

We use your information to:

  • Provide and coordinate your healthcare
  • Manage appointments and services

  • For research, evaluation and population health outcomes where only de-identified information is used (unless otherwise permitted or required by law).
