Ergon Energy Retail's fundraising efforts for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) has helped raise more than $11million since the partnership began in 2000.

Ergon Energy General Manager Retail Operations Martin Seri said reaching the milestone was only possible thanks to the ongoing support of customers and enthusiasm of Ergon Energy Retail employees.

"Ergon Energy Retail has been helping to develop a relationship between our customers and the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) for 16 years," Mr Seri said.

"Through our customers' generosity, the Flying Doctor has been able to purchase a new aircraft, medical equipment and provide important services in rural and remote communities across Queensland.

"It is a great honour that we are able to extend the partnership between our two great organisations to ensure we are able to support regional Queenslanders."
