The Bulk Handling Technical Conference and Expo (BULK Expo) is proud to announce the Royal Flying Doctor Service Victoria (RFDS Victoria) as its official charity partner, shining a spotlight on the regional communities that sit at the heart of Australia's bulk handling, processing and manufacturing industries.
From grain terminals and mining operations to processing plants and manufacturing facilities, much of Australia's bulk handling sector is based outside metropolitan centres. The industry's success depends on the people and communities that keep these operations running, many of whom rely on services such as the RFDS Victoria for access to essential healthcare.
By partnering with RFDS Victoria, Bulk Expo aims to strengthen support for the regional and remote communities that play a critical role in Australia's industrial supply chains.
"Whether it's moving grain from paddock to port, processing minerals, manufacturing products or supporting major industrial operations, the bulk handling sector is deeply connected to regional Australia," Prime Creative Media Head of Marketing – Events Molly Hancock said.
"The people working in these industries often live and work in communities where access to healthcare can be more challenging. Partnering with the Royal Flying Doctor Service Victoria is a way for our industry to give back to the regions that contribute so much to Australia's economy."
The partnership will see RFDS Victoria engage directly with attendees, exhibitors and industry leaders at Bulk Expo 2026, creating opportunities to support healthcare services that make a tangible difference in remote, rural and regional areas.
Marie Quirke, Chief Fundraising & Partnerships Officer at RFDS Victoria, said the partnership reflected a shared commitment to regional communities.
"As Prime Creative Media's chosen charity partner at this year's Bulk Expo, the Royal Flying Doctor Service Victoria is proud to stand alongside industries that are deeply connected to the economic strength and community life of regional Australia," Quirke said.
"In partnering with Prime Creative Media and engaging with the bulk handling, manufacturing, and processing sectors, we have a powerful opportunity to turn shared purpose into meaningful action, helping deliver essential healthcare to the communities that sustain these industries.
"We invite businesses attending Bulk Expo to join us in this mission and play a direct and lasting role in improving the health and wellbeing of the regions in which they operate."
Bulk Expo 2026 will bring together professionals from across bulk solids handling, processing, manufacturing, engineering, agriculture, resources and logistics to explore new technologies, share technical expertise and tackle the challenges facing industry.
