Nursing student placements
The student placement program offered by RFDS (Queensland Section) provides a two-week placement opportunity exclusively for third-year Bachelor of Nursing students from Queensland universities.
Please contact the Placement Officer at your university to express your interest, as we are not involved in the selection process.

Medical student placements
The RFDS (Queensland Section) offers medical placements for students at our Mount Isa, Charleville, and Cairns bases.
These placements are available to students interested in rural medicine who are enrolled through an established Queensland university rural pathway.
All applications should be directed to the university’s medical placement department, as we are not involved in the selection process.
