Four events, four Queensland bases, and thousands of smiling faces.
Our newest event offering, RFDS Picnic with the Planes, saw phenomenal interest, selling out in record time and drawing record numbers through hangar doors in Roma, Bundaberg, Townsville, and Rockhampton.
Over 2,500 tickets were sold across the three events, as we welcomed locals to enjoy an educational and fun-filled afternoon amongst the aircraft.
From equipment displays and live patient loading demonstrations, to tours of our new Aeromedical Training Academy and sitting in the cockpit of our travelling simulator, we were able to give the community an insight into the important work we do.
