Dr Don Bowley OAM’s commitment to remote communities of Western Queensland

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) acknowledges the wonderful contribution of Dr Don Bowley OAM, who is leaving the service after working as a doctor at the Mount Isa Base for more than 26 years.

His dedication and commitment to improving the health of the people of Western Queensland was outstanding.

Dr Don will finish up work for the RFDS in January 2023.

Dr Don has made a significant contribution to remote communities of Western Queensland, which was acknowledged with the awarding of a Medal of the Order of Australia in 2012.

The RFDS wishes Dr Don all the very best for the future.
