Senex knows the importance of supporting community and the dental needs of those across the Wandoan region has been something the company has contributed to now for the past 3 years.
By supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) (Queensland Section) Mobile Dental Service to provide free dental services, many people have benefited in an area where getting access to dental treatment can been challenging.
Senex has announced it is continuing its valuable partnership with the RFDS (Queensland Section), helping people to achieve better dental health.
Demand remains high for the free dental service with community members encouraged to register their interest on 1800 002 507.
Senex Energy Community Relations Manager Trevor Robertson said Senex was delighted to partner with the RFDS to bring the dental service back to Wandoan for a third year running.
“Wandoan has always supported Senex and we want to play our part in ensuring this community continues to thrive,” Trevor said.
“It really puts a smile on our faces to be able to return Wandoan’s support in such a practical way.”
Since launching thirteen years ago, the RFDS Mobile Dental Service has delivered over 140,000 treatments to 26 Queensland communities.
Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) (Queensland Section) Chief Fundraising and Engagement Officer Katherine Ash said the support from Senex continues to make a significant difference.
“We truly value partnerships like the one we have with Senex as we can see the real benefit of their support on the ground,” Katherine said.
“Our Mobile Dental Unit provides a world-class service to areas where access to oral health professionals can be difficult.
“We thank Senex for their support and look forward to working closely with them to have a positive impact on the lives of people across the Wandoan region.”
