In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Rockhampton Base, we are pleased to share Picnic with the Planes - RFDS Rockhampton Base presented by Textron Aviation.
Nestled amongst the aircraft, this event welcomes the Rockhampton and surrounding communities into our home. Overlook the runway which saw 3,544 RFDS landings in the last financial year alone and meet the team who flew more than 1,500,000km – that’s the equivalent of more than two return trips to the moon!
From lawn games, facepainting, live music, the RFDS Simulator, and of course birthday cake, there is plenty for everyone to enjoy.
