The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) is seeking a dedicated Senior Project Coordinator to join our Outback Mental Health (OMH) team in Toowoomba. The Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for implementing a new community-based mental health initiative addressing the impacts of bushfires. This role is essential for coordinating and delivering focused mental health promotion, early intervention, and educational activities, as well as for establishing and leveraging strong partnerships within the local community. The position demands a high degree of autonomy, strategic coordination, and a comprehensive understanding of the local context to ensure that the service is both effective and sustainable.
Your role will involve;

  • Strategic planning and implementation of a mental health service
  • Stakeholder engagement and networking
  • Service development
  • Project and budget management
  • Reporting and evaluation

This full-time position, based in Toowoomba, will run until June 30, 2026, and will require occasional travel and overnight stays.
