Description

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is currently seeking an experienced Change Manager to support the delivery of a range of projects in IT and other areas of the organisation. The Change Manager conducts impact analysis, assesses change readiness and works with the project team to design, develop, deliver, and manage key change activities with the project stakeholders.
In this role, you will :

  • Develop change management plans that are relevant for the project or iniative.
  • Implement change management strategies to support project delivery
  • Create actionable deliverables including "Extend" plans, such as the Resistance Management Plan
  • Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Engage and coach key stakeholders at all levels, with an emphasis on developing a change management mindset and maturity
  • Undertake change impact analysis
  • Help define, lead and coordinate training activities required to support the change
The Change Manager is a maximum-term, full-time position based in Brisbane. This role will begin as an initial 12-month contract with successful outcomes yielding opportunities for extension and permanency. Digital & Technology offers hybrid working arrangements with a mixture of home and office work, as well as regular team days.

Who are we looking for?
In addition to your formal qualifications in Business, Information Technology, or Change Management (or a closely related field) you’ll be able to identify the diverse needs of multiple business groups and demonstrate an astute understanding of their differences. As a Change Manager, you will have a creative toolkit underpinned by change management methodologies. You will be skilled at delivering enterprise solutions and promoting change in complex and challenging environments. Naturally, you will demonstrate:
  • Extensive understanding of how people go through change and the change experience
  • Experience in managing transformational change in a diverse organisation
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to clearly articulate change communication to a wide and diverse audience
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Collaborative approach with a team player approach
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
