Description

By joining the People & Culture (P&C) team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) you will be motivated by purpose, not just tasks. Our P&C team is on the lookout for a confident and collaborative Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator to join us in a permanent full-time role. In this position, your main responsibilities will include supporting the administration, coordination, delivery, and reporting of the learning and development programs. You will be the first point of contact, providing support to employees with any learning and development queries. In this role, you will:

  • Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), from enrolments through to module design
  • Provide advice and support to leaders and educators to achieve best practice learning outcomes in the LMS
  • Maintain the compliance training framework and training registers
  • Prepare L&D reports from the LMS
  • Organising the delivery of L&D programs and workshops (as required)
  • Support onboarding and online inductions for all new staff
  • Administer the service recognition program and reward & recognition program

Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a self-managed coordinator who can positively present training, maintain databases meticulously, and excel at building relationships. You will be an outstanding communicator who can connect with diverse and remote teams and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to executives, leaders and teams. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
  • Formal qualifications in Training and Education (minimum certificate IV) (other relevant qualifications will be considered)
  • Experience managing an LMS and navigating systems quickly, confidently, and accurately
  • Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office suites, particularly Excel for reporting purposes, and programs for the development of learning materials and documentation
  • Professional, effective and accurate communication both verbal and written
  • Ability to work productively while managing multiple tasks and navigating competing priorities to meet allocated deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Positive solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
