Description
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) are leaders in providing access to aeromedical and primary health care services to people in remote, rural, and regional locations. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance & Corporate Services team on a permanent, full-time basis, commencing January 2024.
The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for processing financial transactions that contribute to the accurate and timely recognition of expenditure and payables.
Duties will include:
- Monitoring invoice automation to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, including assignment of invoices for coding/approval
- Maintaining supplier master data in ERP system
- Responding to all accounts payable queries in a timely manner
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
- Preparing the month end creditors reconciliation
- 1 – 3 years relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Confident using multiple computer systems and software
- Ability to prioritise competing tasks
- Ability to engage across all levels of the organisation
