Description
The Business Analyst role will be working on projects that will be improving, streamlining and integrating current work practices and systems – existing and new. This will include working across all business areas including aviation, engineering, corporate and clinical, to understand the pain points, whilst also mapping out the longer-term requirements and strategy.
This role has the potential to make significant differences in the efficiencies of our staff and help improve the day to day operational and administration of our essential health care services. This role is part of an exciting organisation wide project in the 5-year Strategic Program for the RFDS Queensland Section.
The Business Analyst is a Full-Time position on a Maximum term of 12 months based in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities
Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Establish and maintain relationships and work collaboratively with a diverse set of stakeholders across RFDS
- Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders
- Define, analyse and document current and future state business processes and requirements
- Contribute to the delivery of new or enhanced technology to improve or change business processes
- Contribute to business cases, product selection criteria and RFP for vendor solutions
- Apply best practice to produce solution documentation using modelling and analysis tools, methods and standards
- Assist with test planning and testing as required
- Complete other ad-hoc activities as requested
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Strong communication and stakeholder and customer engagement skills
- 3 - 7 years of experience in business analysis, process design and build and data modelling and reporting
- 5 years of supporting the implementation and change of complex business applications
- Experience Supporting Employee Lifecycle Management and Payroll related applications system integrations across multiple systems concurrently
- Experience working across complex and diverse business, aviation, engineering and clinical applications.
- Experience producing documentation including technical support procedures, process maps and user guides
- Additionally, experience in transformation and HR/Finance projects with exposure to business architecture and service design principles, frameworks and activities would also be well regarded.
Qualifications/Registrations
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration (Desirable) or a closely related field, or equivalent experience
- BPMN certification desirable
