Description
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) in Queensland is currently in search of a Test Analyst known internally as a Test Coordinator to work across Aviation, Clinical and Corporate environments. The Test Coordinator will be responsible for testing new solutions aimed at enhancing the overall end-user experience. With new and innovative technologies on the horizon, this role will play a crucial part in ensuring the success of the RFDS.
In this newly created role, the Test Coordinator will facilitate testing of solutions and work processes to ensure quality outcomes for ICT solutions across multiple RFDS business units. To achieve this goal, we will develop and execute test cases in collaboration with both internal and external project members. We will also track and resolve defects and provide support for UAT business resources.
In this role, you will utilise your highly developed problem-solving skills, attention to detail and customer-focused nature. You will be required to;
- Focus on minimising the impacts that a technology project can have on the end-user experience
- Apply testing methodologies and components in a hybrid agile/traditional environment
- Focus on continuous improvement to ensure best practice testing methodology, tools and processes
- Lead the management of appropriate actions to anticipate, investigate and resolve problems in systems and services.
- Establish and maintain strong engagement and relationships with internal and external project stakeholders
The Test Coordinator is a full-time position with a maximum term of 12 months and is based in Brisbane. Digital & Technology offers hybrid working arrangements with a mixture of home and office work, as well as regular team days.
Who are we looking for?
Your analytical work style will be enhanced by your "ownership" mentality. You should be a skilled and effective communicator, capable of engaging high-level stakeholders. Additionally, you should be able to explain technical issues and solutions in simple, comprehensible language.
You will demonstrate-
- Minimum of a University degree in a discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technical Management or a closely related field (or equivalent experience required)
- Demonstrated experience in Jirra Service Management and Software
- Hands-on experience in performing different types of manual testing that include application, business processes, system integration, regression, and acceptance testing
- Experience producing test artifacts including test plans, test scripts, defect logs, procedures, process maps and user guides.
- Technology domain experience (including Microsoft O365 and Azure)
- Extensive experience with Testing Methodologies
- Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Change Control process
