Job Description:
As the RFDS soar towards its 100th year of providing the finest care, in the furthest corner. Our award-winning Fundraising and Philanthropy team have a brand-new opportunity for a Fundraising Coordinator – Gift in Wills (GIW), to join in on all the excitement!
The Fundraising Coordinator (GIW), will be responsible for nurturing and retaining a portfolio of confirmed gift in will donors, building meaningful relationships with our dedicated supporters. The role will also work with solicitors and executors to administer estates and seek to develop the legal professions’
understanding of the RFDS gift in will program and how RFDS can play a role in their client’s legacy.
Internally this role is known as the Special Supporter Coordinator and is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at our Brisbane Corporate Office, with the added flexibility to work from home.

Key Duties:
- Plan and implement gift in will focused events, tours and one-to-one stewardship to maintain high levels of supporter engagement and retention of gift in will supporters
- Deliver exceptional relationship management through high-value donor interactions (visits, phone calls, cards, events, tours etc.) to confirmed gift in will donors and intenders
- Ensure all Estates are administered in a timely fashion, in collaboration with RFDS legal support and the Chief Financial Officer.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and operational staff to deliver gift in will stewardship activities
- Coordinate communication to the legal profession, ensuring key legal stakeholders are informed of the RFDS gift in will program
- Maintain accurate data and information in the RFDS database on confirmed and prospective gift in will donors to enable accurate reporting of future gift in will revenue
