The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) are leaders in providing access to aeromedical and primary health care services to people in remote, rural, and regional locations. About the Role
This diverse role is for a skilled Administration Officer who possesses both general administration and specialised skills. You will have demonstrated experience in providing administrative support to clinical teams and completing specific tasks such as rostering and reconciliation. Naturally, you will be able to manage competing priorities and understand medical terminology and the complexities of Practice management and coordination.
As an Administration Officer, you might also be expected to perform the following tasks:
- Completing data entry
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail, faxes and freight
- Completing stationery and uniform orders for the Base
- Coordinating fleet vehicles
- Providing non-clinical administration support
- Covering reception duties
- Organising meetings and conducting minute-taking
- Software updates for clinic laptops
You would describe yourself as being a dynamic individual who is eager to contribute to a high-performing and supportive team, as well as meet the following criteria:
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel and be comfortable with other software packages
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Highly competent in maintaining confidentiality
