Description
This is an exciting career opportunity to join our award-winning Fundraising & Philanthropy team, on a full-time, 14-month contract (maternity leave cover), commencing August 2023.
Based at our Brisbane Corporate Office, with the added flexibility to work from home, this role is a fantastic opportunity for you to deliver the vital supporter retention program within the Fundraising & Philanthropy team. In addition to contributing your skills to further opportunities that arise within the wider RFDS community, you’ll also be responsible for developing, supporting, and caring for both our internal and external stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities
As the Supporter Retention Manager, you will:
- Lead retention initiatives across the Supporter Engagement team, driving higher giving, retention & engagement across the program
- Deliver renewal & retention campaigns on time, on budget & with targets set & achieved
- Implement, monitor, and report on mid-level donor strategy
- Execute strategies to retain donors & reduce attrition across donor renewal, acquisition & regular giving programs
- End-to-end management of multi-channel retention & renewal activity, to increase growth & improvement across the program
- Develop & maintain all donor care communications
- Lead & manage the retention team to foster a culture of agility; innovation; high performance; accountability & Supporter Centric thinking
Who are we looking for? We are seeking a friendly individual with excellent communication skills and an empathetic approach. You will be systems savvy and display:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or similar
- 5-7 years relevant experience, working within a charity or agency
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work and problem solve, autonomously, while collaborating and contributing to wider team goals
- Excellent relationship building skills and ability to adapt communication style
- Experience in leading multi-channel customer/ donor retention and renewal activities; achieving targets and improving performance over time
