Description

Due to internal promotion, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) is seeking a Service Delivery Coordinator. As part of this role, you will be involved in providing day-to-day support to RFDS staff regarding ICT issues, such as issuing new assets, troubleshooting, incident management, and fulfilling requests.
In addition, you will;

  • Oversee and manage assigned improvement initiatives
  • Provide second-level support to users, develop knowledge articles, automate processes, and provide staff training
  • Ensure the ICT environment is compliant with best practices and ITIL service management standards
  • Create clear internal operating procedures detailing the responsibilities and accountabilities of internal ICT and third-party vendors
  • Assist with the development of business cases, scope, and requirements of ICT-related projects
  • Provide ‘on call’ 24-hour support for one week every 6 weeks (additional allowances are applicable)
  • On occasion travel within QLD and NSW (negotiated with respect to availability)

This role is a permanent, full-time role based in Brisbane. The RFDS Digital & Technology Team offers hybrid working arrangements with a mixture of home and office work.

Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a Service Desk Coordinator who is a positive team player, highly analytical and willing to go above and beyond in delivering solutions for our end users. In addition, you will have a certificate or diploma level qualification in Information Technology, ITIL Foundation Certification and you will demonstrate-
  • 4+ years’ experience in ICT Support, Helpdesk or Service Desk, and Customer Service
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and fault/problem resolution
  • Confident communications skills (both verbal and written) with a customer-focused approach to providing support at all levels
  • Strong understanding of ITIL Framework and IT Service Management
  • Working knowledge of ICT Procurement and Asset Management practices Experience with Office 365, ServiceNow and SharePoint
