Description
We are seeking an Administrator on a part-time basis reporting to the EGM People and Culture. This role is suitable for someone who has a genuine interest in working in a fast-paced environment to support our super-talented teams across our bases in remote and rural Queensland.
The Administrator Officer- People and Culture (Uniform Coordinator) is responsible for the management of RFDS-issued uniforms and will draw on effective project management and procurement skills to drive key projects of the Uniform Program, utilise effective relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders and will be the main point of contact for uniform queries, feedback and database maintenance.
Key activities include:
- Oversight of the Uniform lifecycle
- Co-ordination of the uniform program, including communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Undertake a review of current stock on hand to ensure the provision of annual uniform reallocations.
- Maintain a relationship with our uniform provider.
- Maintain professional and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver exceptional customer service as the main point of contact for uniform management and provide support to Base Uniform Coordinators.
- Assist and coordinate HR projects, initiatives and events
- Coordinate the efficient, accurate and timely delivery of HR administration processes
- Ad-hoc administration duties as requested by the EGM People and Culture.

- Previous project / contract management experience
- Procurement understanding
- Have excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Display a natural ability to connect with people and build relationships at all levels
- Demonstrate a willingness to work as part of a team
- Bring Excellent organisational and time management skills of self and others with demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage workloads and identify when to reschedule and reorganise work to reflect changes in priority

About the RFDS (Queensland Section)
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. In Queensland, the RFDS employs approximately, 500 people ranging from pilots, doctors, nurses, engineers, allied health professionals, and a variety of administration and support services roles. The Corporate Office is located at the Brisbane International Airport, and RFDS operates from nine operational bases located in Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Charleville, Mount Isa, Longreach and Roma.
The RFDS also delivers a broad range of essential health care services to rural and remote communities, as well as emergency retrieval services.
