Description
The Environment and Sustainability Coordinator provides advice and research and production of innovative policies, plans and strategies within the Risk, Safety and Sustainability team. The role contributes to the continual improvement of RFDS sustainability and environmental initiatives.
The Environment and Sustainability Coordinator is a Permanent Part-time (0.6FTE) position based in Brisbane.
As the Environment and Sustainability Coordinator you will:
- Be an expert and deliver new knowledge and information to your team and the broader organisation
- Develop, review, and support the continuous improvement of Environmental and Sustainability policies and procedures
- Advise on policy and procedure development, review, and updating of documents
- Other duties as directed by the Risk Safety and Sustainability Manager to meet organisational needs

To be successful in this role you will bring a wealth of knowledge of the environment and sustainability environment of the RFDS Queensland Section. You will demonstrate:
- Qualifications in Environmental Management and Sustainability or ability to obtain
- Internal Auditor Qualifications 14001, 9001 and 45001 or ability to obtain
- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills with an ability to act decisively
- A collaborative working style and high attention to detail
- Previous experience in environment and sustainability management, and internal auditing
- Would suit those looking for flexible work, such as recent graduate
- Current QLD Drivers Licence
