Description

Join the award-winning Fundraising & Philanthropy team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) as a Fundraising Support Lead and contribute to our exceptional donor care within first class fundraising culture.

The RFDS are excited to be currently seeking someone fun, friendly, passionate and positive to join our amazing team in a Permanent Full time role (internally known as Supporter Care Lead) located in Brisbane.

This role is a golden opportunity to lead and contribute in delivering an extraordinary supporter care experience to all RFDS supporters, aligning with our Fundraising and Philanthropy team success.

The Supporter Care Lead will:

  • Process donations received via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
  • Oversee and contribute to all daily tasks and processes performed by the Supporter Care team that aligns to our Fundraising and Philanthropy program goals and success
  • Provide expert leadership, direction and guidance to your team to deliver exceptional and efficient supporter care
  • Plan and manage team workload considering fundraising activities and how that will impact workload of staff

We are looking for:
  • Previous experience in leading a team, preferably either in a fundraising environment or customer service setting.
  • Proven efficiency and accuracy in working with financial data and entering data with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to respond to customer queries in a courteous, prompt, accurate, and confident manner
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

RFDS (Queensland Section) works with vulnerable patients in remote parts of Queensland and provides an essential service to many regional and remote communities. To ensure the health and safety of our staff, our patients, and these communities and manage the risks involved in service delivery and COVID-19 transmission in these communities and our workplaces, our staff are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19. If you are the successful candidate the requirement to be vaccinated against COVID-19, including maintaining any recommended booster requirements, will be a term of your employment, as will the requirement to provide proof of vaccination.

Please note: This role may be required to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, will be subject to criminal history and may be required to undergo a preemployment medical assessment. There may be a requirement to travel in QLD for this role and work out of hours maybe required to respond to unscheduled outages and major incidents affecting critical systems.
