Description

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) are leaders in providing access to aeromedical and primary health care services to people in remote, rural, and regional locations. As an exciting new opportunity, we are currently seeking a Practice Coordinator to join our team in Charleville. The Coordinator supports the everyday operations of Primary Health Care (PHC) clinics, which ensure efficient and effective primary health care for patients.
The Practice Coordinator is a job-sharing role, in a permanent, part-time capacity offering flexibility with the days worked.

Duties will include-

  • Practice support including coordinating electronic medical records and organising appointments
  • Patient support including liaison between patients and clinicians, managing referrals and coordinating patient follow up
  • Supporting PHC projects and providing accurate reporting of the PHC Clinics

Who are we looking for?
  • Certificate in Business Administration or Practice Management (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in an Administration Management or a Coordination role
  • Prior experience and proficiency in using medical software and IT systems
  • Understanding of Medical Terminology
  • Proven ability to handle challenging operational situations by utilising well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve team-based outcomes
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Highly competent in maintaining confidentiality
