Description

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) are leaders in providing access to aeromedical and primary health care services to people in remote, rural, and regional locations. In our journey towards our 100th year of providing services, we are committed to providing the finest care in the furthest corner.

One of the key initiatives at the RFDS is supporting our people. The RFDS People and Culture team provides essential support, assisting all areas of the organisation. Due to a development opportunity within the team, we have a have an opportunity for a People and Culture Advisor to join us in a permanent full-time capacity based at the Brisbane Airport with working from home flexibility on offer.

The People and Culture Advisor will:

  • Assist with interpretation of legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
  • Coordinate the onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding processes for employees
  • Maintain HR-related systems and files
  • Produce and maintain a range of documentation including employment contracts, guidelines, templates, organisational charts, reports, and other workforce-related documentation

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • 1-3 years experience in a generalist Human Resources function
  • Proficient computer skills using an HRIS and the Microsoft suite
  • Minimum of Diploma in a relevant study area
  • Highly organised with the ability to work productively whilst navigating competing priorities
