Description

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) is a leader in providing access to aeromedical and primary health care services to people in regional, rural and remote locations. In our journey towards our 100th year of providing services, we are committed to providing the finest care in the furthest corner.

With a refreshed vision and a new look Corporate Affairs team, we have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Senior Digital Advisor.

The Senior Digital Advisor will:

  • Use data insights to continuously build understanding of audiences and target markets
  • Analyse and review various evaluation metrics to inform strategies for product development and user journey optimisation
  • Produce proactive and reactive content optimised for social media
  • Develop functional resource pages across RFDS websites and app
  • Understand the content lifecycle, accessibility, SEO and producing customer-centric content
  • Monitor and evaluate media and social media to gauge success, identify improvements and provide and contribute to strategic communication advice
  • Lead a small team of digital and design specialists

The Senior Digital Advisor is a full-time position based in Queensland.

Who we are looking for?

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

  • Qualifications in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a closely related field
  • Strong communication and stakeholder and customer engagement skills
  • Demonstrated experience in website and app development
  • Demonstrated experience in successful collaborations on projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of digital news content and a sound knowledge and experience in utilising social media channels

RFDS (Queensland Section) works with vulnerable patients in remote parts of Queensland and provides an essential service to many regional and remote communities. To ensure the health and safety of our staff, our patients, and these communities, as well as to manage the risks involved in service delivery and COVID-19 transmission in these communities and our workplaces, our staff are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19. If you are the successful candidate the requirement to be vaccinated against COVID-19, including maintaining any recommended booster requirements, will be a term of your employment, as will the requirement to provide proof of vaccination.

Successful candidates will be subject to a Police Check and candidates are required to hold a current, unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence. There may be a requirement to undertake intrastate travel with overnight stays.
