Description

The COVID- 19 Response Coordinator provides non-clinical administrative and coordination support to the COVID-19 Response Leader and Nurse Managers (Primary Health Care) across Queensland

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) are leaders in providing access to aeromedical and primary health care services to people in remote, rural, and regional locations. The COVID- 19 Response Coordinator role is based in Charleville however, we are open to other RFDS Base locations. This role is a maximum term, full-time opportunity until the 30th of June 2022 (with the possibility of an extension).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Nurse Managers regarding all aspects of the RFDS vaccination program
  • Support the Nurse Managers to organise staffing, rosters, documentation, and other administrative requirements to facilitate vaccination clinics
  • Work with the Nurse Managers on the provision of clinic information and compliance with organisational and Government requirements
  • Complete reporting requirements and data collection to meet organisational and Government requirements

To be considered for this role it is essential you meet the criteria below:
  • Certificate level qualification in the relevant study area
  • Minimum 3 years medical administration experience with health system data entry experience (desirable)
  • Strong competency with Microsoft Office programs and the ability to use and pick up new systems proficiently
  • High-level interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of project management processes
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills with key stakeholders and the ability to identify and respond to evolving requirements
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills
