Job Description

The eLearning Specialist is responsible for design, development and implementation of eLearning and digital learning solutions for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Queensland Section. The eLearning Specialist is a newly created role with the unique opportunity to grow our eLearning capability.

The eLearning Specialist is a Part-Time position working four days a week, based in Brisbane and located at the International Airport.

Key responsibilities

  • Create, design and deploy online learning courses and modules using specialist eLearning software Articulate 360 predominantly with Storyline development
  • Establish enhanced learning outcomes through customised interactivity produced with digital media
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to design learning content and innovatively create engaging eLearning solutions
  • Support the Learning & Organisational Development Manager with the implementation of Learning and Organisational Development programs

Who we are looking for?

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
  • 2-3 years demonstrated advanced experience in volume development of eLearning products using Articulate Storyline
  • Proficiency in using technologies for learning production, digital and multi-media products, creative design work and corporate documentation
  • Instructional design skills leveraging adult learning principles and engaging learning techniques
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with subject matter experts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and navigate competing priorities
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in production of written content or documentation
  • Ability to apply creativity and innovation to create solutions and solve problems
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small multi skilled and generalist team and contribute across other aspects of People and Culture when required
