Description
The Learning and Development Advisor is responsible for the design, development, delivery, facilitation and evaluation of learning and development solutions for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Queensland Section. The Learning and Development Advisor is a newly created role to support the growing volume of learning projects emerging and as such, we are looking for someone to be able to hit the ground running.
The Learning and Development Advisor is a Full-Time position based in Brisbane and located at the International Airport.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, facilitate and evaluate learning and development solutions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyse learning needs and determine solutions in line with adult learning principles and contemporary best practice in learning
- Support the Learning & Organisational Development Manager with the strategic implementation of Learning an Organisational Development programs
- Plan and develop communications and tactical solutions to manage change effectively
- Provide team support through production of resources, coordination and promotion of programs, and back-up learning management system administration
Who we are looking for?
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- 1-3 years demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Experience in delivery of end to end learning and/or organisational development programs
- Experience as an engaging facilitator of group-based learning workshops
- Background in human resource management including learning and development
- Experience in identifying learning needs with stakeholders and designing solutions to fit
- Ability to manage multiple projects, navigate competing priorities and deliver high quality outcomes to the fast pace required
- Strong communication, written and verbal, with practiced stakeholder management skills to create win-win outcomes across all organisational levels
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small multi skilled and generalist team and flexibly contribute across other aspects of People and Culture when required
