Description

The RFDS (Queensland Section) Fundraising and Philanthropy Team are an award-winning team of professionals who are the recipients of the 2020 FIA Fundraising Team of the Year. The team is currently delivering the 20-28 Fundraising & Philanthropy Growth Strategy, inclusive of a new opportunity for a Philanthropy Associate to be a key driver in success.

The Philanthropy Associate is responsible for the coordination and implementation of trust and foundation applications and acquittals. The Associate will also provide support for the philanthropy program in maintaining accurate donor records, identifying key prospects, researching potential funders as well as building and maintaining high value donor relationships with the support of the Philanthropy Manager.

The Philanthropy Associate is a Full-Time position based in Brisbane.

Who we are looking for?
The ideal candidate will possess:

• Qualifications in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or similar
• Demonstrated program management skills with the ability to develop plans and timelines, communicate with stakeholders and monitor progress
• High-level writing skills with the ability to adapt style to the target audience and purpose with a high level of accuracy
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to establish, build and nurture internal and external relationships
• High level of attention to detail with ability manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting strict deadlines
• Strong analytical skills, with ability to synthesise information from a range of sources into compelling funding applications
• Experience working with CRM systems, Raiser’s Edge, GEM (Desirable)
