Job Description
The role of Business Systems Administrator provides support, administration and escalation for business applications and platforms to deliver business solutions to the organisation. As a point of contact for project support for business systems, this role is critical for successful transition of new and updated services and solutions. The Business Systems Administrator is a newly created, holistic support role forming an integral part of the Digital Transformation Program for RFDS Queensland Section.
The Business Systems Administrator is a Permanent Full-Time position based in the RFDS Corporate Office in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities
Your key responsibilities in this role will be to:
- Investigate operational needs, problems and opportunities and recommend improvements across systems and processes
- Assist the team on the design of systems and solutions
- Administer the recording of activities i.e.- logging of results from system testing
- Transition-to-Production activities such as providing support advice to initial users
- Develop test scenarios to validate new/updated processes to identify efficiencies
- Respond to service requests by providing information to internal stakeholders, ensuring all requests are dealt with according to agreed procedures
- Determine and monitor problems in systems and assist with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures
Who we are looking for?
To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and support skills
- Demonstrated experience supporting data integration between business applications
- ServiceNow Administration – ITSM, ITBM, CMDB
- Microsoft 365 Administration – SharePoint, PowerAps, PowerBI & Flow
- Hands on experience using data visualisation and analytic tools and techniques
- Service Desk or Customer Support experience
- Experience in release management (including Test & Change management), problem and incident management
Qualifications/Registrations
- Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Current QLD Drivers Licence
