Job Description
The role of Data and Systems Analyst provides support, analysis and configuration of business applications, platforms, and data to deliver business solutions. This integral role drives key components in the RFDS Digital Transformation Strategy through collaboration and support of business stakeholders and system users. The Data and Systems Analyst imbeds understanding in how data-driven changes to process, products, services, and software can improve efficiencies and add value.
The Data and Systems Analyst is a Full-Time position on a Maximum Term of 12 months based in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities
Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Test, analyse and report on systems, software, and processes
- Define, document, and prioritise recommended changes
- Contribute end-to-end solution design, data architecture and interface solutions
- Assist and develop the capability of business users to improve decision making
- Understand and promote regulatory compliance requirements, including the privacy information act
- Design and implement systems and processes to protect data from cyber security threats
Who we are looking for?
To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement and support skills
- Extensive experience in business analysis/ integration design
- Demonstrated experience supporting data integration between business and/or clinical applications
- ServiceNow Administration – ITSM, ITBM, CMDB
- Microsoft 365 Administration – SharePoint, PowerAps, PowerBI, Flow
- Hands on experience using data visualisation and analytic tools and techniques
- Experience with application configuration and support (including scripting knowledge in JSON, JavaScript, SQL etc.)
- Experience in release management (including Test & Change management), problem management and incident management
- Experience producing documentation including physical data flows, file layouts, technical support procedures, process maps and user guides
Qualifications/Registrations
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration (Desirable)
- System Administration Certification or formal training
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Current QLD Drivers Licence
