Description
The Project Manager – Clinical Systems will play a key role in working with the Clinical Systems team to identify areas to develop and improve data sharing, systems and processes in relation to virtual health transformation projects across the clinical stream of the RFDS (QLD) operations.
The ideal candidate will have significant EMR development and implementation experience in a project environment.
The Project Manager – Clinical Systems is a Full-Time position on a Maximum term of 12 months based in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving relevant clinical stakeholders
- Lead the planning and implementation of assigned projects around EMR and clinical systems interoperability
- Engage with relevant stakeholders during the planning, design and delivery phases of the project
- Provide expert advice and strategic input into the development of clinical project deliverables
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/suppliers for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Maintain and provide advice on operational projects to key stakeholders
- Prepare operational and capital budgets (short-term and long-term)
- Explore new ideas, support innovation, and work with the team and leader to implement changes that add value and improve service delivery.
Who we are looking for?
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Digital Technology/ICT or Business qualification
- E-health capability experience including Single View of Patient/Patient Admin Systems
- PRINCE2 or similar certification
- Proven project management skills and at least 5 years’ experience within the Health Sector
- Agile & Waterfall methodologies expertise with proven ability to apply the most suitable approach
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated experience in the development of IT Strategy and Architecture
- Vendor and Contract Management skills and experience.
