Description

The Project Manager – Data and Digital Transformation will play a key role in working with different business and technology stakeholders to identify areas to develop and improve data sharing, systems and processes in relation to the delivery digital transformation projects across the business.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on projects establishing the foundations of a data architecture and systems uplift strategy then driving the development and implementation.

The Project Manager – Data and Digital Transformation is a Full-Time position on a Maximum term of 12 months based in Brisbane.

Key responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Lead the planning and implementation of assigned projects
  • Facilitate definition of project scope, budgets, goals and deliverables, and coordinate with existing vendors for current and prospective products, solutions and support
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders during the planning, design and delivery phases of the project
  • Provide expert advice and strategic input into the development of project deliverables
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/suppliers for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Maintain and provide advice on operational projects to key stakeholders
  • Prepare operational and capital budgets (short-term and long-term)
  • Explore new ideas, support innovation, and work with the team and leader to implement changes that add value and improve service delivery.

Who we are looking for?
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
  • Digital Technology/ICT or Business qualification
  • PRINCE2 certification (desirable)
  • Proven project management skills and experience in SaaS, PaaS / Cloud solutions
  • Experience in Azure architecture and ServiceNow (highly desirable)
  • Previous experience in Health and/or Aviation Sectors (preferred)
  • Agile & Waterfall methodologies expertise with proven ability to apply the most suitable approach
  • HR project experience including payroll/time and attendance/rostering (desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills of all levels
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of IT Strategy and Architecture
  • Vendor and Contract Management skills and experience.
