Description

The Grants Coordinator will form part of the Corporate Affairs and Marketing team which provides marketing, media and communication services to build and maintain the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) brand and reputation throughout Queensland, particularly in the local communities in which we operate. Specifically, this role will manage all grant and funding applications for new and existing services on behalf of the organisation.

The Grants Coordinator is a Full-Time position based in Brisbane.

Key responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Manage all funding submissions (grants, tenders, unsolicited bids) on behalf of RFDS Queensland for new and existing services, including writing, editing and proof reading of all applications
  • Identify new opportunities for funding and manage the application process, including tracking the success of the application
  • Ensure all applications maintain and elevate the organisation’s integrity and trusted position as a leading aeromedical and healthcare organisation
  • Prepare marketing collateral material to support all funding submissions
  • Provide general support to the marketing services team and contribute to the broader objectives of the CAM department
  • Work collaboratively with all key internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist team members with internal communication, media, marketing services, community relations and stakeholder engagement as required
  • Assist leaders manage budget development and spend.
Who we are looking for?

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or similar
  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing funding submissions – including grants, tenders and unsolicited bids
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills and the ability to manage tight deadlines
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • A fastidious attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing confidently with external stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively, efficiently and professionally with all internal stakeholders.
