Description

The Corporate & Community Partnerships Manager leads the Partnerships team and strategy, increasing income from corporate partnerships and community fundraising activity through securing new partnerships, the development of existing corporate partnerships, and the management of community fundraising income via third-party and peer-to-peer fundraising.

This opportunity is ideal for an exceptional individual with demonstrated experience in building and managing financially strong and mutually beneficial relationships with well recognised brands and organisations.

The Corporate & Community Partnerships Manager is a Full-Time position based in Brisbane.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the Partnerships team to ensure a consistent and high level of stakeholder management for corporate partners, fundraisers and internal stakeholders
  • Facilitate cross team collaboration and work with internal stakeholders to a drive proactive strategy
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to drive new corporate partnerships and effectively nurture and grow existing corporate partners and supporters
  • Manage the development of the Corporate & Community Partnerships income and expenditure budget
  • Lead the scoping, planning and budgeting for a new peer-2-peer fundraising activity

  • Tertiary qualifications in the fundraising field of study or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in acquiring and developing significant strategic partnerships and building strong business relationships with shared value
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills and the ability to motivate, inspire team members to achieve goals aligning to broader strategic priorities
  • An innovative and creative growth mindset prepared to try new thinking and approaches
  • Strong financial analysis skills with demonstrated experience in budget management, pipeline management, reporting and strong commercial acumen
  • Strong proposal writing, pitch and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and closing skills
  • Proven experience in driving partnership & community fundraising strategy, while working effectively across all levels of an organisation
  • Possess a strong understanding of and appreciation of wider fundraising methodologies and best practice to ensure effective collaboration across fundraising programs
  • Experience in developing and managing a large community fundraising or P2P program
