Description
The Business Systems Delivery Manager is responsible for managing business applications across the Corporate, Aviation, Engineering, Logistics and Fundraising lines of business for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Queensland Section. Partnering with key business stakeholders this newly created role will develop and maintain plans for innovative and improved business solutions. The Business Systems Delivery Manager will also establish and manage the RFDS QLD Project Management Office (PMO).
The Business Systems Delivery Manager is a Full-Time position based in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities;
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Directing activities of the Systems Delivery team and Project Managers in the implementation, development and support of RFDS business systems
- Providing hands on project management as required
- Contribute to the development of the Digital & Technology strategy
- Develop business cases for digital improvement opportunities
- Establish and manage a PMO function for major projects across RFDS QLD.
- Manage ongoing support and improvement of business-related applications
- Ensure a formal transition to service occurs for new or changed business systems
- Manage the resolution of major and critical support incidents
Who we are looking for?
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Extensive PMO or Portfolio Management experience
- Experience in Health and/or Aviation Sectors
- Expertise in Program and Change Management
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills of all levels, including Executive
- Experience in building and maintaining a high performing team of multi discipline technical specialists
- Demonstrated experience in the development of IT Strategy and Architecture
- Vendor and Contract Management
Qualifications/Registrations
- Graduate degree in Digital & Technology or Business-related field
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Current QLD Drivers Licence
