Description
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) (Queensland Section) is looking for a Senior Marketing and Communication Adviser to provide professional marketing and corporate affairs services to promote and protect the iconic RFDS brand throughout Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
In addition to promoting the well-loved RFDS brand, the Senior Marketing and Communication Advisor;
- Manages the production of all corporate publications such as the annual report
- Produces and publishes material for the RFDS websites
- Optimises the RFDS website to reach target audiences on important topics
- Demonstrates initiative, creativity, strategic thinking and problem solving in relation to marketing
- Promotes new programs and services via digital and traditional marketing channels
- Works productively and collaboratively with all key internal and external stakeholders
- Contributes to the broader objectives of the Corporate Affairs, Marketing & Strategy (CAMS) Department.
- Assists team members with internal communication, media, marketing, community relations and stakeholder engagement services.
Who are we looking for?
- 5 years’ experience in Marketing and Communication
- Demonstrated experience in publications management, social media, web content creation and the coordination of external suppliers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high standard in attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with experience using project management software and the ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Desktop publishing experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Campaign Monitor.
- Previous experience in technical or feature writing
- Experience in content management systems e.g. SharePoint, CRM database and campaign monitoring software
Qualifications/Registrations
- Bachelor of Marketing/ Communication/ Journalism or equivalent experience
- Current QLD Drivers Licence
