Description

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) is embarking on an exciting period of digital transformation, and we're looking for an experienced Data Services Coordinator to join our Fundraising & Engagement team.

This newly created full-time contract role offers the opportunity to support a major CRM transformation while maintaining critical fundraising data operations. As RFDS transitions to modern cloud-based platforms, you'll help ensure supporter data remains accurate, accessible and actionable, driving better experiences and data-informed decisions across the organisation.

This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organised data professional who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative environment and can confidently balance operational support with project-based work.

About the Role
Reporting to the Data & Supporter Services Manager, you'll provide operational support across CRM administration, data services, fundraising campaigns and reporting activities. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, software vendors and project teams to support both business-as-usual operations and ongoing CRM initiatives.

A significant focus of the role will be maintaining day-to-day data services while key team members are engaged in a large-scale CRM migration project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for CRM and fundraising database enquiries
  • Administer and maintain CRM and supporter database systems
  • Manage data imports, exports and data quality activities
  • Prepare audience selections, campaign files and mailing lists
  • Support fundraising campaigns through data preparation and validation
  • Produce reports, dashboards and data extracts for stakeholders
  • Perform data cleansing, reconciliation and quality assurance activities
  • Coordinate vendor support requests and system enhancement activities
  • Support CRM migration, testing, implementation and user adoption activities
  • Maintain process documentation, user guides and knowledge resources
  • Assist with troubleshooting, problem resolution and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, security and data governance requirements
About You
We're looking for a flexible and adaptable data professional who can confidently work across a broad range of responsibilities and quickly contribute to an established team.

You will bring:
  • 3-5 years' experience in data services, CRM administration or database management
  • Experience with CRM and fundraising platforms such as Blackbaud Raiser's Edge 7, Raiser's Edge NXT, Salesforce, or similar systems (highly desirable)
  • Strong skills in data imports, exports, segmentation, reporting and data quality management
  • Experience supporting CRM migrations, system enhancements or digital transformation projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and changing workloads
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and service delivery
