Are you an experienced Executive Support professional who thrives on keeping senior leaders organised and focused on what matters most?
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) is seeking a proactive and highly organised Executive Support Officer to provide high-level administrative and executive support across two Executive leaders. Supporting a collaborative and approachable Executive team, you'll play a key role in ensuring priorities stay on track, stakeholders remain informed and Executive operations run seamlessly.

For almost 100 years, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) has been delivering lifesaving aeromedical and primary healthcare services to rural, remote and regional communities. Every day, our people help ensure that Queenslanders can access essential healthcare wherever they live, work or travel.
As our Executive Support Officer, you will:
- Keep Executive leaders organised through proactive diary, meeting, travel and priority management.
- Coordinate meetings from end to end, including agendas, minutes, action tracking and follow-up.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, correspondence and Board documentation.
- Support governance and reporting activities, ensuring priorities and key deliverables remain on track.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing trusted support and service.
- Conduct research, prepare briefing materials and coordinate information to support informed decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and outcomes.
- Support strategic projects, organisational initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with fellow Executive Support Officers to deliver seamless support across the Executive Office.
This is a permanent, part-time opportunity working four days per week (Monday to Thursday), based in the RFDS Corporate office in Brisbane.
Our Executive Support Officer will have:
- Previous experience supporting senior leaders or executives in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated experience resolving issues, collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups, and delivering exceptional internal customer service.
- A proactive, solutions focused approach and the ability to work independently.
- Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support shared outcomes across the Executive Office function.
- Experience supporting executive leaders in either an Aviation or Fundraising & Philanthropy environment (desirable).
