Description
At the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS), our People Services team is looking for a People Experience Specialist to play a key role in delivering and continuously improving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, organisational culture, values-based behaviours and employee performance across the employee lifecycle.
About the role
Reporting the General Manager People Services, the role delivers programs that strengthen employee connection to organisational purpose and values, supports a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and drives initiatives that improve employee experience, engagement and retention. The position plays a key role in advancing diversity, equity and inclusion outcomes, with a particular focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employee engagement and culturally safe workplace practices. Key responsibilities involve:
- Design and implement people experience, culture and values initiatives.
- Analyse cultural and engagement insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Support Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging, including First Nations workforce initiatives.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic people programs
About you
You’ll be well suited to this role if you have experience:
- Building trusted relationships and influencing diverse stakeholders
- Applying strategic thinking and solving complex people challenges
- Designing and implementing people-focused initiatives
- Working in small multidisciplinary People teams
- Balancing structured, detail-oriented tasks but have flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
