GENERAL

Promotions and the Promoter

1. These terms and conditions apply to the following promotions being run during to Big Red Bash Event 2024 (Event):
(a) Purchase a raffle ticket and go in the draw to win a raffle prize at the Big Red Bash 2024. (Promotion).

2. Further details on the Promotion is set out below.  Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these terms and conditions.  By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.  Entries must comply with these terms and conditions to be valid.
3. The Promoter is Royal Flying Doctor Service of Queensland ABN 80 009 663 478 of 12 Casuarina Street Brisbane Airport QLD 4008.  To contact the Promoter, please email community@rfdsqld.com.au.
4. All proceeds from the purchase of raffle tickets will directly support the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section).


Eligibility to enter
5. Entry to the Promotion is open to all eligible entrants of the Event (Eligible Entrants). An eligible entrant must possess a valid ticket for Big Red Bash 2024. Proof of purchase may be required upon claiming the prize.
6. Eligible Entrants must be over the age of 18 to participate in the Promotion. Proof of age may be required upon claiming the prize. Entrants under the age of 18 are not eligible to enter the Promotion. If a winner presents who is under the age of 18, the Promoter reserves the right to refuse ownership of the prize and conduct a redraw.

Privacy and personal information
7. The Promoter collects personal information about Eligible Entrants, including the information they provide when entering the Promotion. 
8. The Promoter collects this personal information for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and awarding the prize to Eligible Entrants (where applicable), facilitating the Promoter’s internal business operations, including the fulfilment of any legal requirements, as well as providing Eligible Entrants with information about how they can support the Promoter to help make a difference to rural and remote Australian communities. 
9. By entering the Promotion, the Eligible Entrant consents to the Promoter using and disclosing their personal information to the Promoter’s agencies, affiliated organisations and other third parties engaged to provides services in connection with the Event and the Promotion, including to contact the Participant in relation to the Event and the Promotion.
10. If the personal information provided to the Promoter is incomplete or inaccurate, the Promoter may not be able to process an Eligible Entrant’s entry into a Promotion.
11. The Promoter may disclose the Eligible Entrant’s personal information overseas to third parties located in the United States, in order to conduct the Promotion. 
12. More detailed information about the way the Promoter uses, discloses and secures personal information, how the Eligible Entrant can access and correct that information, and how the Eligible Entrant can make a complaint about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles can be found in the Promoter’s privacy policy here www.flyingdoctor.org.au/privacy-policy/.
13. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting the Promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

General conditions

14. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.  The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
15. Any winner of the Promotion has rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other similar legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by the Promoter.  These terms and conditions do not exclude, restrict, or limit those statutory rights in any way.  However, to the extent that it is permitted to do so, the Promoter (including its officers, employees, and agents) excludes all liability whether arising in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise for any personal injury or any other loss or damage (including without limitation loss of opportunity or loss of profits) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, without limitation:
(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
(d) any variation in market value to that stated in these terms and conditions;
(e) any tax implications; or
(f) the prizes or use of the prizes.
16. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches.  If such problems arise, the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of the Promotions, has breached any of these terms and conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion.
18. If, for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available to it, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend any or all of the Promotion, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend any or all of the Promotion or amend these terms and conditions.

PROMOTION
Purchase a raffle ticket and go in the draw to win one of the raffles at the Big Red Bash 2024;

Promotion period
1. This promotion commences at 08.00 AEST on 29 June 2024 and ends at 2.30pm AEST on 4 July 2024 (Promotion Period).

How to enter
1. To enter, during the Promotion Period, Eligible Entrants must purchase a raffle ticket.
Each raffle ticket purchased entitles the eligible entrants to one valid entry into the draw.
2. Minimum raffle ticket amount is $10.

Prize

3. There is a total of one prize winner (Winner).
First Prize:
A double pass to the 2024 Big Red Bash, a framed Big Red Bash souvenir t-shirt signed by the 2024 artists. Total Prize Value $2,600.
Second Prize:
Signed NRL Dolphins Jersey, NRL Dolphins merch pack, a $200 Woolworths voucher and a Charlottes Plains voucher. Total Prize Value $2,000.
Third Prize:
1 Dust n Boots Vinyl Gear Bag, 1 Cobba Country Bundle, $250 Ringers Western Voucher, REDARC TOW-PRO ELITE Electric Brake Controller with Active Calibration,12 x Heaps Normal Another Lager Can, 1 voucher for 2 adults for the Lake Moondarra Sunset Tour, 1 Signature of Reece Walsh Queensland Maroons framed. Total Prize Value $1530
Fourth Prize:
1 Dust n Boots Vinyl Gear Bag, 1 Cobba Country Bundle, 1 RacksBrax XD Hitch Triple, 1 RacksBrax XD Side-Twist Long Food (Triple) ($315), 8 x Heaps Normal Another Lager Can, 1 voucher for 2 adults for the Lake Moondarra Sunset Tour. Total Prize Value $970.
Fifth Prize:
1 Allingtons Outpost Merch Pack, 1 Entertainment book, 1 Heaps Normal Another Lager Case, 1 Outback Aussie Tours Silver Tails Rail Sunset Tour for 2, 1 Quilt. Total Prize Value $620.
This prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.  The Promoter will not be responsible for backstage pass that is lost or stolen.

4. The Prize is subject to the terms of use of the Big Red Bash Event.
The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by the Winner as arising from, or in connection with the Prize or the conduct of the Big Red Bash Event, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

5. In the event that the Prize (or any part of the Prize) becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize (or the relevant part of a prize) with a prize of equal or greater value subject to any contrary direction from a regulatory authority.

Draw date and time
6. All valid entries will be included in the draw.
The draw will take place at 2.30pm AEST on 4 July 2024 at the Big Red Bash.
7. The first valid entry drawn will be the Winner.
Winner notification and prize delivery
8. The Winner will be notified at the Big Red Bash, and if they are unable to collect, the RFDS fundraising team will call the winner on the 11 July 2024.
The Winner will need to come to the RFDS tent located next to the BRB merch tent at the festival and show photo ID.

Unclaimed prizes
9. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to identify and locate the Winners.
If the Prizes remain unclaimed within 72hrs of the Prize Draw Date, an unclaimed prize draw will be held at 12.00pm AEST on 15 July 2024 at Level 4, 5-7 Lobelia Circle Brisbane Airport QLD 4008 (Unclaimed Prize Draw).
10. The winners of the Unclaimed Prize Draw will be notified in the same manner as set out in item 9 above. 

Other
11. Should an Eligible Entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the Eligible Entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter.  A request to access or modify any information provided as part of the redemption of a Prize should be directed to the Promoter.
